What do the Rides Include?
Each itinerary will have its own specific route on the best roads for cyclists. We make every effort to minimize auto traffic while maximizing scenery and safety. Every rider will be provided with a selection of energy gels/bars as well as an active hydration mix such as OSMO or Skratch Labs. Of course, if preferred, water alone is available. Each ride will have at least one planned rest stop at a local convenience store. Additional stops for rest or photographs are accommodated as long as time permits. All local Orange County rides include a post-ride lunch/meal at the shop. Make your menu choice prior to the ride start and your meal will be waiting for you upon return!
If you are going on one of the iconic Southern California climbing rides, then you will be shuttled to the start location in our van. On all of the remote rides, including the OC to San Diego coastal ride, a post-ride lunch is included at a local restaurant selected by ARB. For an additional fee, the remote rides also come with the option of a follow van throughout the route. Our store van, driven by one of our mechanics, will follow you or your group throughout the ride! Talk about riding like a pro! Click the "Book Now" button to book any of the tours listed above!
Information on Fitness Levels
If you are putting together a group of 2 – 6 people, it is important that each rider share similar levels of fitness. This will keep the group together and create a more enjoyable ride for all. Some short regroups at the top of climbs are to be expected. But if there is a wide range in fitness levels, big gaps will form and re-grouping will take much longer, making the ride less enjoyable for everyone involved. Please be cognizant of this.
